I also ride a lot, take care of Cerebral Palsy wheelchair patients, take care of a farm with 2 houses, 1 dog (gave away the 2nd one 2 weeks ago), 2 kids (one from China and travel back to Shenyang often), volunteer 6 days at nursing home (Tuesdays off), as well as get my avg 30k miles of riding in each year. I have over 7446 photos(as of today) but I just turn on the geotag feature and let Google organize them rather than try to organize them myself. If your photos are geo-tagged, you can also do an import to a map and google will make a pin and individual icon for each one.
By your reply it seems you think I directed the the portion of not sharing location at you. After reading my post again, it does appear that way, but that's not the way I intended it. My apology. You post the city or something so it can be found. Some of the inmates will post something like "somewhere in Canada." So while not a precise location, I thank you for not saying "Somewhere in the northeast"
You have made some awesome posts and we can find them.
As for the map I posted, you can search it. For example the above request...typing in "Silos" would find the location. To find your mustang post location, type in "mustang". I'll prolly not catch up either as my bride chastises me often for staying up so late at night trying to find these places inmates post.
Another issue with murals is that they get replaced, covered, removed, fade, or destroyed easily. So this thread is a great documentation of these displays of art. I still enjoy them even if I never have the opportunity to see them in person.
No worries. I did not take your statements directly or negatively at all. We're just communicating and sharing. Elaborating. Sometimes I get caught up and run on in a manner that can be misread.
Probably should turn on the location function for pictures. Have done that in the past. Was not aware of the ability to quickly and efficiently drop them into a map database. Thanks. May play with that some time.
It's funny you mention murals getting covered up. This does happen often, and sadly some fascinating works of art get replaced simply because of the prime location, to make way for new masterpieces. For this reason, I try to visit and photograph the new murals within a year of them hitting the walls. You just never know.
Glad to hear your staying busy and are driven. Life is to be thoughtfully celebrated !

I've enjoyed seeing Detroit thru your lens...thanks for all the posts!
In case you didn't see this article...the Slow Roll seems like a very cool idea!
Thanks ! Glad you are enjoying the photos. The Slow Roll is something I've been aware of - and meaning to participate in for some time now, but, something is always going on when I actually remember it. Although, I do occasionally haul my Surly Long Haul Trucker into the heart of the city for an urban trek.
