DETROIT - GRAND RIVER CREATIVE CORRIDOR
ABE IN SHADES -
A nice sunny Saturday in North Carolina..
A couple from Asheboro, NC
I took an overnight ride down to Pawley's Island, SC for back roads, crab cakes and micro brew - and found a little city art along the way.
Lake City, SC
OLD GROWTH - I'M NOT DEAD YET.
Painted after the tornado that destroyed the town a few years back.
Rode from Tallahassee, FL to Long Beach at the end of October over six days. I knew several years ago when I first saw that mural I'd ride out to take that pic.
Stunning...and a perfect color match to your bike!
Where is this?
The Eastern Market area of Detroit. This is a freshly painted mural done in September of this year.
Just a side note, this reminds me of a trip out rt 80 in PA to pick up my son from college as hurricane Sandy was devastating the east coast. As we drove west there was a long, long line of power company trucks flowing east, and whole group of them said "Joplin, MO" on them. It hadn't been that long since they received help. It makes the mural that much more significant.
Sure it isn't photoshopped?
