MY Dad Went to MOAB!!!

    The Lockhart Basin Trail show up really well on Google Earth. I marked the route with waypoints on the attached file. The file is a .gpx file made in GPSU so it should open in a lot of different map programs. I like to click on the link, open with Google Earth, and then zoom in where i can see the features of the trail.


    This picture from Google Earth shows the north end of the trail. The picture below was taken from the waypoint marked as "picture taken") looking towards the bottom of the google image.

    Dad turned 60 this week. The birthday had him reminiscing about some of the things he has done. This week is right at the top when grading his bestest rides ever!

    Its been almost 3 year since this trip. Has he been back since? I went to moab for the first time this past Oct. I told myself I return in a year or two. My trip was amazing also. To date it has been some of the best riding i have ever done. I wish it was so far or that gas was so much. Happy birthday to your father.
