    Many thanks Nicole,

Lets hope that in a near future the girls can meet in a ride.

Probably next year we will be again visiting relatives at California (LA and San Jose)

    saludos

Nope, but this PUEBLO MAGICO is on the list next time.

Did you know that those tunnels where built back in XVIII Century to filter and conduct the water and avoid floodings on the church,
but since then were forgotten and they were re-discovered until 2001 !!

Yeah the tour is real neat. Its interesting to go down there and see some of the tunnels that are still filled with water, it is crystal clear. The road there is real nice but be careful with loose gravel.

The tour guide told us that they are always discovering new tunnels under the city and that they are planning to open more tunnels in the next few years. Ill have to go back and visit when they have more tunnels open.

As a female rider, I just LOVED reading your report.
She is a beautiful young woman and it's wonderful to see the joy and happiness on her face during the trip. I especially liked the pic of her on the back of the bike, alone.... in the big boots :-)

So... how soon until she has her own bike? I want to ride with her.

Sounds like you will need a sidecar soon... :D

I enjoyed your report very much, it's easy to forget there is life beyond Juarez.

The story of the statue is interesting, I had not heard of it before.

    Ride safe!

    thank you!

I presume that she will be riding as soon as she can be tall enough to step on the floor from a 125 cc enduro bike :D probably some couple years..

Absolutely true!!! I have been riding in Mexico mainland - mostly the Sierra-- 5 times in past 3 years. ( every March and October) When I am there, it does not seem like the same country we read about in the news. What I have seen is beautiful countryside, with interesting culture and friendly, helpful people.
I am going again with 4 or 5 other riders in 2 weeks.
And , truly, if you only read the headlines of the USA: violence, political corruption, etc. -- would you travel there? Pick any 6 of 10 headlines and you'll see what I mean.

***So your daughter has to be 2 meters tall before she gets a bike? :-)

Meeting up with Colbycheese in Presidio and riding to Chihuahua to connect with SanSergio and the others. Look forward to meeting y'all in Creel. Not long now.

Decided to go with the TKC80 front and D606 rear this time, BTW.
