If the Alaska trip does not materialize this summer I might go back and explore Newfoundland a bit better and do the TLH loop again..might include the Baie St. James + Trans Taiga. Also want to see the areas that I missed then due to inclement weather..really miss the ferry rides as well, he..! BUT most of all my Frau will come along this time!:feelgood

See what I have done to Brunhilde that carried me thru the TLH sans wife. Now Brunhilde is lugging Ingrid the sidecar and of course wife will accompany me....

    AFTER....

I am sure you'll recognize me on the road...

Cheers...Your Man returning on the road

This has been one of the best if not THE BEST ride report that I have read. I do have a question. Did someone get the patch? I love the ride report because of the way it was written and the great pictures that goes along with it.

Thanks so much for the wonderfully detailed ride report. It will help me immensely. My wife and I are hoping to hit it counter clockwise this July.

I read the 2010 ride report first then this one. I am interested in our side car. How do you like it vs riding with out it? Why a side car?
I rode nova scotia this aug-10 and your report was excellant. Thanks for all the great pictures.

So sorry BOOGIEMAN...was on the lam and didn't consult my side for quite a while.

Why a sidecar...hhmmnn....age is one! Hausfrau will do gravel and dirt roads in it. More stuff can be hauled, eh:lol3 . Safety comes to mind as well. Of course sometimes miss going thru twisties sans sidecar....but been with it for 2 years now and must say we're permanently attached to the hip:rofl

I have now read all your reports and the side car seems the way to go. I envy all of the great trips you have taken. your reports are well written with outstanding pictures. I am trying to retire this next year and do some of the same trips.:norton

Good to see you get out and about mate. if you don't mind me asking, how deaf are you, only reason I ask is I am totally deaf but have a cochlear implant in my right ear, it is the only thing that allows me to hear, it is a god send and has changed my life. I just bought a 990 and hope to soon to get out and explore so land down under.:clap
