...sure those pistons will work with those heads Lornce?:huh
....kidding, I'm kidding!
Thanks for posting those various squishbands.... stolen and stored in my files for reference
How about these, then?
They look a little bit like Coleman Camp stoves
ANd the forks look Deeliscious. <--
...get those from Euro Lornce?...them the one's I need?...
Those are 1050cc Venolias. They work great with modded squishband heads.
Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of the modded heads. Won't be long before I have them apart, though, so I'll get some pictures up soon.
I like the new thread title
"Beware, all bikes that enter here..."
Only the DR gets out alive??????
Oh, I have plans for that, too.
It's too bad that all the motorcycles you own need upgrades and modifications to make them good. :huh
Wow! re those my new pistones? Yippee!!!
Ahhhh, not quite.
...dang if I didn't know better, those look like squishband pistones...
Now that's funny
WP 50's are 2.5" longer between the lower steering stem bearing and the axle. Raising the rear the same amount should be straight forward with the 1150 swingarm and a suitable shock.
FYI, HPMGuy is doing another run of the custom R-Dubb triples for adapting the WP's to BMW's if you are interested...
What are the critical geometry dimensions specific to his pieces?
Particularly, trail at various rake angles?
I'd say to go check that original R-Dubb thread.. or ask R-Dubb.
I waded through some of that thread but didn't actually discover much of use.
