Where is the thread/post about taking the stock 990 front fender and cutting it so that you "make" your own front fork guards to use with the high front fender? I have looked, and searched, and cussed, and I still can't find it.

You know that used low fenders can sell for $170. new? last time i looked $270
Its doesn't take a whole lot of tools to rig a bracket to put some other guards on, something that wraps around at the top of the guard, so when you fill it with mud they don't just flop forward. My high fender setup sure fills the radiator up with crap compared to the low stocker.

    Got a spare for $50. :D

I've done the 65sx fork guards and brackets and the 690 smc ones look better IMO. But those are more expensive than the spare stocker I just got.
