    Hey Everyone!

    I've recently picked up a 1985 Honda Elite CH150. It's my first two wheeled motor vehicle, and I'm pretty excited about it. It was running when I got it but not too well. I've already done a bunch of work to it, should be in tip top shape in no time.

    I've read through many posts on this forum and it sounds like a great, and helpful place to be! So I've decided to join up.

    I've actually been keeping a little blog with most of the work I've done to my Eliter. You can check it out here;

    If you have any tips, questions, or comments I'd love to hear em :)

    Excited to be an Adventurer!:D

    Yeah it's definitely up there. hard to tell because when I bought it the tact was broken and stuck at 34xxx. I probable put 1000 on it before swapping out the dash with one that was at 36xxx. I just went over 37000 last week.

    pretty crazy amount of usage, Hoping with good maintenance there will be plenty more.

    Very cool, I subscribed to the tumblr.

    I picked up an 85 Elite in December, and have ridden it a few times so far this "spring". But not as often as I'd hoped. It's May 3 and it is currently snowing. :eek1

    Fun little machine!

    Let me know how that CDI works out. Think I might get one for my skelly. Just a little boost I hope.

    Hey,

    The CDI made two noticeable differences.

    Prior my scooter would climb quite easily up to 80-85kmph before I noticed it starting to struggle and slowly gain more speed. Now it climbs easily to 95kmph, then from there slowly to about 105-110.

    Only other major thing I noticed is that it takes one more kick to start up. never varies or anything just takes an extra cycle for it to start, might be a timing thing. So instead of holding start for 1 second I now have to hold start for two. Not a huge setback.

    The acceleration might have been upped a bit too, but not much.

    I'm amped. This is gonna look so good put together. Just have to make all the bumpers look nice, install my new shocks, Paint a little here and there, and figure out a new exhaust and she's done. :rofl
