What did your friend do to that 950? I see bodywork is missing...

    And you ride a 990...

    Hey!

I am running the same set-up as you do and have a quick question for you if you don't mind.
Today I went to a mechanic to change the tyres, I reminded him several times to make sure of the direction of the tyre he managed to mess it up at the front tyre, rotation mark is facing in the wrong direction. How can this affect tyre behaviour and life?

    Thanks for your help!

If that was my tire I would fallow the manufacturer recommendation. As for the life of that tire I only got 500 miles on them when I rode the V2R course in Nevada on my ktm 990 adv. The rear tire was soft and punctured very easy.

Now I run in the rear a D908 and front Michelin hp4 starcross. Here is a link to my last ride.

I might have missed it, but are you talking about the E-09 Dakar that you only got 500 miles out of? And now you've switched to the D908, so you were not that impressed with the Mitas? Thanks!

I had the E-09 on the back of my Triumph Tiger. I really liked the tire but it burned out in 6000 km. I now have the E-07 on the back and love the tire. It has 6000 km on it and still has about 60% tread. It has performed well on and offroad. I've done everything from sand/rock/gravel and asphalt twisties. I'm replacing my TKC 80 on the front with an E-07 dakar front. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs.

Also..MX1 Canada has been awesome. Free shipping when your order is over $100 and it's usually at my door within 5 working days.

    Cheers :beer

How did the E-09 do on wet tar? I find 6.000 km pretty impressive for a knobby.
