I want to go for a ride, it’s Saturday. Where to? A plan is made to ride for pie. I head to Michael & Mom’s in Orange Grove. It’s about 49 miles by county roads and farm to market roads from my home near Beeville.

After riding for about an hour and thinking about what kind of pie, I arrive.

My choice the “Millionaire Pie” and it was worth the ride. 5F19EF75-29A7-44F3-A630-AEEDF10F00D8.jpeg

Yep, great 1st post. I'm a photoholic...so I'd request a photo of the bike in front of the place next time...

This is serious intel. I rode all the way to Lorman, Mississippi to have the World's Best Fried Chicken. What's a ride to Texas for pie? Makes sense to me. As the crow flies, that's only 1,200 miles from my house.

49 mile ride for a piece of pie as big as a fork? I'd have to get 6 of those to make it worth it...

Well, for people that actually need a reason to go somewhere that's about as good a reason as it gets. Hell, I rode from St Louie to the U.P. to get a pastie and then forgot to get one, I'll have to go back next spring now !
