Clicked on your report out of curiosity and got sucked in! Loved all of your RR's and pictures. The farm looks fantastic, quite different from my neck of the woods Gotta see that part of the country sometime in my future.
Thanks! Ride on, ride safe

Valkeries on a dirt road must have been fun, or terrifying depending on your perspective.
Fosters is a ladies beer, regardless of the size of the can. Maybe he's trying to compensate for something.
McJamie... If ya read my whole thread ...
My Mate and I ride dirt a good deal with the Valks...
If ya don't ride it you'll never get use to it...
Just like riding in the dark and in rain..
So yes you are right it just depends what your prospective is...
On one of my photo sites I use I found this teaser pix from one of my rides a few years past... I love this shot...
I remember that day .. We rode in rain all day, heavy at times for just about 500 miles ,it was cold and this was JULY !!
And then the clouds broke a few times ..
Yuppers that was some day of riding...
We went to memorial event for a local police officer n Military man who was a biker and a stunt rider
So we said hey its a nice day lets go and support the event
All the proceeds went to the family..They had all kinds of auctions and such..
Wow the place was jammed.. Even a few biker clubs showed up to support the event
Posters of Officer D.Rowe all over the place..
Highbinder was taking in the day..
Dennis Rowes stunt bike
The TeeShirts ....
There was also a hot rod and truck show as well..
Cool old Corvette, hey look at the little one on the air intake..
Low riders.. LOL even a dump truck low-rider
There was even Skate borders too..
The stunters warming up
This was really cool to watch
This fella really put on a show, this was just warm ups
A lot of standing Pop A Wheelies...
There was even a oops
Even the Chic Fil-a cow was there.. Saying eat mor Chicxen .....
This huge Limo was real cool.. You would not believe what was inside..
We took a stroll in the mall..
And ran into The Firedog, He even talked to us
Wow Dalmatians sure have gotten smarter..
We headed back outside to watched a little more..
The one thing that bothered me was the lack of protective gear..
Then we took a nice ride taking the long way home
It was a grand fall day
Hey it wasn't that much stuff But sure was a good weekend!
Is that a new REV'IT preprocessed leather ATGATT riding outfit?
Looks like was a fun day and way nice old Vette.

Well a few weeks back our ceiling fan smoked in the bedroom...
What an awful smell to wake up with..On such a special day..
So we thought we would take a ride to Claypool Hill and look at a few fans .
Oh BTW that special day was our was Nov 1 our 29th Annis. ......
OK back to the story... So after a little us time ,we headed out to Lowe's... We saw one but not really to our liking... So will wait and see what comes in...
Of course we are on the bikes...So we see rt 610 is right there and the weather couldn't be any better.. Yuppers you guessed it we had to ride it...
Heck there isn't a bad road in our area...
It starts out as a nice paved road..That was very short lived..
And with out warning she turns to dirt.. It was a little wash boarded in spots. That sure makes it hard on my bike...And bad for photo taking..
I hollered to HB over the CB that I'm going to stop and take a pix of the cool view..
Here's the shot I took .. I always look at that mountain from US460 .
It always reminds me of a dormant relief valve..(volcano)
Then we came upon this red barn and cow.. 610 is also called "Indian Paint Road". It was big doings for that cow that day..:huh
It was a real nice fall day ride on dirt..
Then the road got really narrow and rutty right after this rise..
Well yeah ya going down hill,But wow the ruts sure were deep!
This old bridge was cool..
I bet there are some nice trout in this creek
The road opened up to another valley...Cool...
Then pavement and rt 91...
Then we headed toward rt16..
The land opened up again to wide open spaces
They still had some leaf colour on the slopes over here..
Back home .. And it ended with another cool SouthWestern Va.Sunset.
Oops I almost forgot .. This is what we had for Supper...
Yuppers a good ride with my riding mate a fine supper ..
It just don't get any better then that..

Those photos of the twisty roads with all the pretty leaves - so lovely! I haven't been riding very long but I think the fall is already my favorite time of year to ride!
Welcome brazen13... To my rr thread.... I hope you took some time and look at the whole thread..
Claypool Hill has a Lowes? :eek1 My grandfather ran the bus station there on Hwy 460 in the 50's and 60's!
I've enjoyed your thread - I've been on most of the roads you've shown in SWVA at one time or another since my Fathers family was from Bland and my Mothers family was from Cedar Bluff. I haven't been in that area for 30 years! Thanks for taking us along!
If you haven't been to the area in 30yrs..
You would be SHOCKED how much it has grown :huh
I'm caught up! thanks for taking the time to 'take me along', after the ride. great pics and story tellin'.
