Just comeback from a little 2 day trip to Jasper, AB... rode for 882 km... very beautiful ride. You can see the rest of my trip on my blog: http://www.sergeibelski.com/blog/3090
Thats just one nice scooter. The pictures remind me of the winter I spent in Colorado once.
You started out right by going with a Vespa!
On my last trip to Jasper, AB I had some problems with my helmet. I discovered that it wasn't the right fit for me and on the long ride it had some pretty bad pressure points, to the point where I had to stop just to take my helmet off Because I do ride very often, and hopefully will go for some more long distance trips... A couple of days ago I had to go and buy a new helmet. As long as I remember, I always heard that Arai helmets are the safest and the most comfortable in the world, so I bought an Arai RX-Q. It doesn't have as many features as my last helmet did, but so far its very comfortable!
And if you ever take to your Vespa with a rocket-pack down at the drags, you'll also be pleased to know they are aerodynamically stable at over 130+........
Thanks for the pics updates man.
Looks like home, must get over there one day, but I rekn it would be a bit surreal.......all those funny accents!
I can't believe I leave you guys alone for a couple of days, and these pictures nearly fall off the bottom of the page.
Great pics Sergei.
I have been riding my Vespa lots, but being busy with other photo shoots, I didn't have time to take any photos on my scooter lately. Today I decided to take my scooter out for a ride with my friend and to take some photos :)
Just before our ride we noticed that my tire's status changed from being "bold" to "completely bold" :) I'm guessing it is never a good thing when you can see the metal "wires" in your tire... oh well, it lasted for 9,850 km. I had to pick up a couple of tires that I had at home and people at Walt Healy Motorsports were very kind to change them for me.
Holy crap you really wore those tires down.
Earlier this morning I went for a ride on my Vespa. I didn't have anything specific in mind, just wanted to take some photos of my bike with some fall colours. Here is what I ended up with :)
I had an hour to spend while waiting for my photo to be printed, so I decided to go and explore some new roads. I ended up having a great ride :)
My first snow ride of the year. I woke up this morning and saw that it was snowing, so my first thought was "I should go for a ride" :)
Uhm, as you do.....
Great photo's mate. I heard about the early snows, made the news even here.
Great pictures. You are tougher than I am. I went riding this morning in the high 40s and that was cold enough for me.

post mileage ran and what problems encountered so far.
On this 2010 Vespa 300 GTS Sport I only have 12,000 km.. I only bought it this spring and didn't do any long rides. So far no problems.. on problem with a coolant hose, but I broke it my self.
On my silver scooter 2009 250 GTS I have 18,000 km (as far as I remember) and I had one problem.. but its a big one.. my engine ceased... don't know why but its getting fixed under warranty.. taking a very long time!!! (it have been in the shop for more than a year now!.. good thing that I have a second scooter)
Every time you post that red Vespa on here it makes me want to go down to the Vespa dealer and get one. I guess I will just have to keep the Kymco people S 250. It gets the job done and was much cheaper. That red Vespa is still one nice scooter.
