I blew my ankle up in April and not quite ready to ride yet, but i'm getting close.

I'm also hoping to pick up a smaller dual sport bike this fall when people start selling cheap, then i'll be itching to ride some trails rather than roads.

I PM'd about a dozen folks that are in the GB area, hoping this thread gets some legs.

I'm in Pulaski. I ride a bit of everything, motocross, dualsport, and street. I'm usually pretty busy with work and kids but would be interested in riding if it works with my schedule.

That'll be fun. I've got tracks all over that area for dual sports and big bikes. I've also got some initiatives going with some counties in that area to expand access.

I live in Sturgeon Bay during the week, and spend most weekends at my cabin near Wabeno/Lakewood. Active member of the Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders. KTM 690 for adventure and 500 EXC for shenanigans.

I farm in the Antigo area. I know Langlade county quite well. Good riding is just 10 minutes from my back door. I frequently go for short day rides which lead me further northeast into Oneida, Vilas, Forest, Oconto, and Menominee counties. My deal is gently cruising hard packed gravel and exploring side roads.

Pictured below is last Sunday's ride on a beautiful 15 mile stretch of Diamond Roof Road in the town of Wolf River just SW of Carter. I ride a BMW F650GS.
I'm also a flat water canoe-er, ... white water creeps me out. So I guess I'm both a wimpy biker and a wimpy canoe-er.

Nice, a bit of life here.
I figure with summer being here it'll be slow to get moving.

If any of you know of others who live and ride this area, point them here...

Daamud- Your living near Crivitz now? Bikes?

Pigjockey- i believe we met at Cannons meet and greet this spring. I was hoping you and a few of the others down that way might jump in. The boys in the Valley tend to day trip down south more, I'd rather do daytrips north.

Motard and Wooodsguy- i know all about life interference. I'm hoping we all can at least get a chance to connect here.

Spudboy- You're riding areas i know well. I used to have a place in Mountain, now i have a camp up near Harrison. I also drift the Wisconsin river up near Rhinelander.

Got my montana mounted finally. Had to wait on ram bits that were on back order from gpscity. Now I'm ready for some riding after the first of the month as then I will have funds for fuel and foods. Can anyone tell me which maps I need to install now to make this gps complete.

Lived 1/2 way between Crivitz and Mountain for 6 years. Been vacationing there my whole life. Moved back to Waukesha 2 years ago.

Lots of cool riding around there in addition to Cannon's tracks. Lots of history in logging, hydroelectric and farming too.
