It's a 205! cbob posted about this last month, but it's worth the bump I guess: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=152051

I plan on attending, though I haven't sent the registration and the requisite $100 donation in just yet. Hoping to drag along some of my cruiser and sportbike friends along on the non-ADV section. :)

Ten riders have pre-entered. That's pretty good odds so far to win the $1,000 Tucker Rocky gift certificate. Raise a little extra $ for the children and improve your odds. http://www.powersportrider.com/CGI-BIN/HOME

On Saturday, 9/16, two of us did the pre-ride to check the route sheet for the Dream House 500 Adventure Tour . The weather was perfect and we had a great time. It rained last Wednesday, so there was very little mud and very little dust. We rode the route on a 650 V-strom and a Cagiva Gran Canyon. We tallied up 181 miles of twisty pavement and 70 miles of dirt (404 km total). The lunch spot is a beautiful site: nice picnic pavilion, shade trees, grass, babbling brook, and the lake. We just didn't get the catered lunch planned for the event.

The ride took us 9 hrs 50 minutes, including the lunch stop and two breaks. 8 hrs 14 minutes in the saddle. The Trail Boss is going to edit the route to shorten it a little. We don't want anybody to be late for the steak dinner at the finish. It will be a very nice ride.

Only 5 days left to enter! The sport tour and the adventure tour route plans are complete. The adventure tour includes two water crossings and the sport tour includes one, too! Who knows where the stream flows across the TOP of the pavement on North Georgia? Meal plans are complete, including a special dessert for the evening steak dinner. We will have four musicians entertaining us at the lakeside catered lunch. The weather forecast is sunny and 71 degrees in the mountains for Saturday. We even have $2,200 worth of prizes to give away at the end of the day. Anybody got any better plans?
