U just want to show us your stunts not really the tank, is it:rofl? I prefer the IMS for extra rad protection (it helps a bit) and i can use my tank bag for storage. Acerbis is good product, i just don't like the plastic fins (just personal preference). I have an extra tank like yours (E Model) if u know someone i'd sell it for cheap.

I like to show off because I do all my own stunts.

That donut you were trying to make turned into a banana:-). DRZ's are build to last as long as u don't get hurt they can outlast us.

the pockets are for emergency beer...if you run out of gas you can sit down and drink the beer while you wait for help...With this design you cant be accused of drinking while riding because the beer is at the bottom under all the fuel.....

    timely topic.
Have an IMS 4 gal for the xr650l, had it pretty tight before, now slopping around, petcock hitting cyl fins, other side banging on finned modulator.

Anyone w 650l experience have an opinion on if clarke 4 gal is better fit and petcock sealing/fin clearance?
dont want to spend the bones if the others fit just as poorly, and dont want bigger than the 4gal as its the right size.

Remove it & make it fit better. Maybe more foam on the frame?

That's what I was thinking. Maybe shim it at the mounting points?

Have the bolts fallen out of the "L" brackets? If it's the proper tank for that bike it should fit. :dunno

Bloody Basin to Prescott Valley. 117 miles. @rattlecan Hill, Squaw Peak to Mingus Mountain. KTM went on reserve at 101 miles. 16 more miles home. Damn Suzuki had to follow me home in case I didn't make it. :baldy :ricky Thanks Buddy. :thumb

Hey 10k, at least it wasn't a yellow one

    Fun day.
Squaw Peak was the last ride SeaBee1 and I talked about before he died, so we rode up to say hi.
