    Agreed! ~$500 worth of factory Euro parts/hardware fixes the problem though. :deal I did the conversion on that one, and it was a lot easier than expected.

    Man! I've seen one or two of those FZ1s with the euro/naked conversion come up for sale on Craigslist and it always blows my mind that Yamaha never imported it here.

    People always love to say that naked bikes don't sell... but at this point there are almost as many naked/standard/streefighter models for sale in the U.S. as there are fully faired sportbikes. So if they're really such poor sellers, why so many of them?

    Agreed, though they've got the FZ8 here now (very similar styling). It always seems to take the manufacturers too long to get what people want to market, and by the time they see the light people are on to something else...:norton

    As soon as my sv is back together I'll plaster some pics all over. Naked, race suspended, but with clipons...I need em. I have one of those Chinese fairings enroute as well, but I gotta cut off those 2 squarish tabs sticking out of the bottom, facing forward.
