I'm still in if we're doing it. I think DEParker is going to have already started his big ride though.

OK that excuse is lame. So your windows are tinted dark but it is no different than walking up to a work van or a pick up truck with a camper shell on it (which by the way yo can tint as dark as you want.)

If you are removing the tint then you should be able to take the ticket and the car to the DA's office and explain that you removed the tint. Most of the time they will drop the charges. If they don't then you can fight it in court. It isn't a moving violation so is the fine more than a day of missed work? Sometimes it is cheaper to just pay the fine than take a day off of work it sit in court.

    PM coming

He told me there was a guy on the department that rides a skooter, I had to laugh. I seen your ride up there a time or two when passing by and I knew he had to be talking about you. I guess we both ride skooters since we both have KLRs. I too enjoy tinkering with my skooter as well.

    Yep .. love the KLR as a do-it-all and Farkle-happy bike ..

Parker .. the trailer is made by one of our inmates .. that is the first-Gen of the design and takes some getting used to .. I am still not sure if I will keep it .. I may keep it if I get another bike that can't be used as a pack-mule like the KLR can .. for now it is still an experiment .. it holds a TON of gear though most guys try to keep the weight down to around 45 lbs in it (which those two fuel cans eat up a chunk) .. I got it because I hate stopping for fuel unless I absolutely positively MUST .. lol .. and because I'd like to go a few places and just not even consider fuel an issue for an entire day .. so I'm playing around with it to see if I'll keep it ..

    I am now out.
The annual canoe trip for this weekend was postponed until next weekend due to Mother Nature. On the bright side I took off and did a section hike on the AT to test out some new gear and break in new boots. I am leading a 50 mile trek over labor day weekend, needed to scout out water and trail. Gear passed with flying colors.
Keep me in the loop in case plans postpone again.

Great seeing that RevBill out tagging... Even if it was spoon fed... Lol... Bill we need to do another ride so you can get some more file tags.

    WoodenVeins.... Good tagging!!!!

Hope to get some seat time soon!

The weather is looking kind of cruddy for Saturday too. After being gone for 7 months, I was thinking yesterday that I'd much rather spend Saturday at home with MrsDonkeys and just head up for the meet/greet on Sunday while she was at work. With KJH out, that leaves me as maybe the last camper. So I think I will bail on camping and spend some time with MrsDonkeys.
