    New tag.

Deep in the southern province of the People's Republic of Pineland lies a bridge that can only be crossed when the water is low. Yesterday's furious waters left a lot of evidence on the bridge, so be safe if waters are high. Warning: You'll have to do exactly 1 mile of well-maintained gravel regardless of from which direction you approach the bridge. Any bike should be able to handle it easily, but if you're scared of a little gravel, then this tag isn't for you.

I took a dip and cooled off for a bit before exploring some more roads. I wish I had brought a picnic. Lots of curves and fun riding in the area for the asphalt crowd too. A couple of inmates on a pair of Tigers would have a blast down here.

I don't think there is a boat ramp. I'm having trouble with it also.

Yes, and it isn't a boat ramp. Have you never heard of the People's Republic of Pineland? It is nowhere near Rockingham. It is actually on the continent of Atlantica, located about 1000 miles east of North America, while somehow being west of the previous tag in Biscoe. You should definitely check it out on Google.

I also gave the name of the bridge in the first set of clues.

I do have coordinates for the geographically challenged. You may have a hard time finding this on your GPS, so coordinates help. However, it is on a public maintained road.

I'll take the hint...looks like a fun place to find but have no idea how to narrow down the search area. Not sure I really understand the way this game works......ok so I may be a little slow:huh

There aren't many low water bridges in NC. Googling that should put you right on it.

Perhaps not in this part of the state, but there are dozens of them along the New River in Watauga, Ashe and Alleghany counties. I never would have thought to google a low water bridge, but, like you said, I found it. :lol3

    Really poor signal!

The tag was low water bridge on the road of the same name in Troy

GPS was way smarter than me today. It wanted us to take 64. Nah, 15-501 through Carthage is more fun. Except for all the people who wanted to watch golf. I've never seen more people wearing visors!!!

Look closely in the picture and you'll see someone panning for gold!

Nice grab. Enjoy the roads down there. Every gravel road leads somewhere fun!

    New Tag

Some interesting history about some of the early residents of the area. Take the time to take a tour when you grab the tag!
