Thoughts on SCSU holding the tiebreak over UM, but UM having the MacNaughton in Bemidji Saturday night when St. Cloud clinched Friday night?

Things didn't go so great in the Mountain time zone last night.

Canisius pulled an Air Force last night at the Cadet Ice Arena. The game was tied untill :07. Falcons played well enough, missed it by that much, not something they usually do. Last week of the regular season, two weeks ago, the Falcons destroyed league #1 Niagra 5-2 and 6-1!

Something CC usually does is be as mediocre as they can be. True to form they split the points every single week in 2013 except 2 Ls Jan. 5-6. The last Denver series CC took 3/4 points, every other week they got 2/4. Absolute mediocrity. DU sputtered too and CC is the last team they wanted to draw for round 1. Tigers would LOVE to have some Gold Pan revenge.

Left out Dad's school, New Hampshire...

Hockey East is as bad as it gets with 3 points covering the top 6 teams. UNH Wildcats wound up 4th by winning tiebreakers. They lost last night but won today over Providence. Everything is a tiebreaker at this time of the year. Most games are decided by one goal. LOVE IT!!

    Hot damn!

CC Beat DU in game 3 last week so they get a shot in St Paul this weekend.

It took OT but CC won it over the NoDak fighting Who?

    Up next, Minnesota tomorrow.

    GO TIGERS!!

And so begins the downward slide of the gophers. Hungry team on a roll against a team already sure of a 1 seed in their NCAA regional.

Sometimes it really sucks to be a cynical MN sports fan. :bluduh

Looks like AFA is out this year. It is probably due to the fact that Jurgen didn't make his annual pilgrimage to C-Springs this year. Sorry Zoomies.

So in order (subject to change next year).

    Go DU Pioneers!!!

    Go Boston College!!

    Go Quinnipiac!

    Burrowing vermin.

Its been a good year for CO sports. This is how is goes for us. Broncos have taught us over the years that disappointment is typical. There will always be flashes of brilliance that keep me coming back to the cheap seats.

    GO SKY SOX!!

NCAA midwestern regional is here in Toledo this weekend. Might have to go check that out this weekend :freaky

I figure Jan Brady State University will have a pretty good shot in this draw.

Lucky for me my champion is on the ropes at UMass Lowell... Looks like I'm up for another last place finish in the pickem.

I might as well have picked UAA in each game :becca
