i bought a 350# thumper in Enid OK and looking for anyone who has room in their vehicle to move it to L.A. or even as close to Phoenix or SF.

will chip in for gas and buy you dinner.

i tried Uship but there's a big price increase due to the rising gas price triggered by the texas flooding.

haha, the 450 six day will cure my anxiety or a 690 or 701.

will be selling my 640E soon after the OK bike arrives.

I tried Uship for my 500 and after a bunch of weird offers, decided to go get it in Wisconsin. I took a few uship deliveries along the way which almost!paid for the gas, and I had a great summer road trip.

I don't know how soon you need it. Might consider someone driving out for LA-B-to-V Thanksgiving weekend to bring it out for you. Many people are coming out from the east coast and Midwest and Oklahoma would be on their way. Bet they wouldn't charge very much, either.

You can post on the District 37 message board or under the LA-B-to-V thread here on advrider.

thought of it. if someone is shipping a bike from LA to OK who will chip in gas $, that's even better.

    thanks julie.

i really want to get the bike moved in the next 3 weeks or before the Pahrump rally.

Wish I would have seen this.

I literally drove from eastern Oklahoma home yesterday.

1455 miles, gas and go, solo.

Even had a trailer with me.

dang. i'm pretty sure the trailer was empty since you sold out all the fold-a-flame you brought to the overland expo.

i knew, you were driving east but never crossed my mind about the bike transport.

anyway, a local advrider able to helped me out.

i always like the rotax engine and FI plus it has to be light and low cost BMW. i am planning to ship this bike to frankfurt for my 2018 travel plan.

We came back with some, but I could have made some adjustments to the load etc and got it for ya.

Glad something worked out. Those rotax bikes are great.
