Been on a ride since July 1. Tire only has 8700 miles on it. What-da-fuck.
Where can I buy a new tire around here?
This is an Avon AV-46ST, 150/80ZR-16

I know it looks like something was grinding off on it, but I cant see anywhere it was rubbing, and IF it was rubbing, I woulda saw the smoke, and smelt the rubber burning off.
I am unhappy about this tire, but cant let it slow me down.

I found a harley shop in Atascadero, but of course, its closed on Monday
We are at the KOA at Santa Margarita Lake. I sure dont wanna ride to many miles on this

Any suggestions or recomendations to help a traveler out?

Thanks, I will be on the teley at 8am.
Hate having unexpected things like this happen. I knew I would be replacing them, but thought I would get over 10k on the rear

Yeah, Coastriders is a pretty decent shop for bmw and other things.

So you must have missed getting to ride High Mountain Road out of Santa Margarita Lake/Pozo 'cause of the tire issue? Come back sometime. Great, easy dirt ride with lots of scenery. Supposed to be condors up there but I've never seen them.

    Glad we could help! :wave
