Man have you ever lived in that area? There is no employment what so ever. Coos County is depressing, unless you hunt and fish. I lived there 19 years and then was paroled and moved to the Valley. Lots of employment and you can ride any direction, not up the coast or down the coast.

That said, good luck, and I will aks around with some of my friends who are still there.

The steelhead fishing is slow this year.the weather has been wet,we got snow down low, but you put the time in,youll get get fish.there is plenty of riding in this area,if you ride more than pavement.unemployment aint the best, but there are jobs if you dont mind working at what your not use to,thats including pay.work hard and not get paid alot is what you get paid for,not unless youv been to college, then you might get better pay.
but there is less than 63.000 people in this area, old growth trees you can crash into with your bike, riding in places most people would not belive and then if you like sand, there is alot of sand with a ocean within sight.
plus the highest ranked golf courses in the states within half a hour away..
what more can you ask for.

So Coo's Bay is about 25 miles away (guessing on the cabin location) and there are no jobs there? Yikes. I rode through there 2 years ago and thought that area was great/prosperous.

Good luck on your search. If I wasn't tied to my farm I'd jump on that in a heartbeat.

Out on Sitkum Lane from Myrtle Point.

Little update here....have had quite a few new ADV riders interested....ie; 1,2, maybe 6 posts with no info in their profile.

Ahem. (News Flash! -lots of scammers are on the internet! I ain't new to this game.... :deal )

This is not going to get you in unless you give me a LOT more info.

You might be completely legit, but please be real about this.

Most (if not all) of these noobs have vanished after I ask a few pointed questions.

If you don't have a history here or don't have some vets to vouch for you be ready for a grilling.

If having a background check done scares you away, don't bother to PM me.

Also be aware I am looking for a long term caretaker. If you are passing through for 5-6 months it ain't going to work.

Am I being a dick? Maybe. Am I protecting my interests? Absolutely.

    Carry on...
