I think the job market is pretty good for those with a skill...not so much for those without....kinda like everywhere else....

I wish I could do this, it sounds pretty awesome. Unfortunately I am employed, own a home, and am on the wrong side of the country. Good luck with the search, someone will come around eventually.

it's about 25ish miles....(about a mile from my house).....and (from what I've heard), not very good either. :nah

You'd probably have alot more to look at and enjoy on the interwebs. :deal

I'm really surprised you haven't found a taker for this. I live in Medford, and my MUM lives in Mytrle Point, so I am well acquainted with the area. I have 3 aunts and uncles that live in the Arago area. It's wetter than hell over there for sure, but free homesteading for simple maintenance and clean up is a hell of a good deal.

    Good luck man.

I'd probably just be trading one tweaker for another.... :bluduh

Good luck with that around the Coos Bay Region.... :lol3

Thanks. Yeah, I'm kinda surprised too... I personally like the weather...and as said, summers are heaven as is the local riding. Fingers crossed for this spring.... :D

FYI...I would have been all over this, IF I didn't already have a good care-taking gig going at the moment.

Hold out for the right person, it will probably take me a couple years to get this property up to snuff (not even thinking of it's full potential) after the last two care-takers that were here.

Maybe your doing this all backwards. Ask $800/month then be willing to be negotiated down to grounds maintenance for rent:lol3 A little reverse psychology?

    Mr. Foole:

Maybe this is 205 but there is a web site & magazine devoted to care takers. Classifieds, blogs and everything. :evil
