My wife, bless her heart, dropped another bomb tonight and has decided to get her Dad a gps for Christmas (he has mentioned wanting one, but has no idea how they work, features, etc... just wants a gps). With zero time to research and look into this, we found a Garmin Nuvi200 at Circuit City for $199 and she got it. Comes home and she finds that Walmart has the C330 on sale for $178 on clearance and now she is asking me which one is better.......and I have no idea.

Do any of you guys and gals know anything about these 2 models other than what the Garmin website has in the "compare" details? From that it looks that they are mostly the same, but there has to be a reason that the C330 is much higher retail.

    Any help would be GREAT>

All you need to know is that Nuvi 200 has the high sensitivity chip and the C330 does not. In all other catagories the Nuvi matches or exceeds the C330 except battery life. Based on this comparison the Nuvi should be more expensive, the fact that it is only $11 more than the C330 makes it a no brainer, keep the Nuvi! He would be happy with either, the Nuvi is a better GPS for the money.
