Specifically a power button or 2. Any suggestions where to get them? I see them on eBay from the Russian Federation, I was looking to purchase closer to home.

    Thanks

Search for PalmDr on the web.
Only place I have heard of in US that does button repair.

A previous post in another Zumo 550 repair thread.

I was a Zumo 550 first adopter back in 2006. The screen got a little weird on me in 2010 so I went with a refurbished unit from Garmin for about $150. In 2017 my unit was starting to suffer with buttons falling out and screen degradation. It was working but the Duct tape over the remaining buttons and jury rig button substitutes were starting to wear on me even though I could explain it all by saying heck it is on a KLR!

Garmin no longer fixes/refurbishes the 550. So I called Chris Short (PalmDr) and talked it over with him. He sent me an estimate. I hit the "I believe this guy" button and sent the unit and a check to him. About a week later I have my unit back and it is working like new! Cost about a $100 including postage.

So I am believer and I have my trusty 550 back on line. Maybe in a few years I will get another Zumo series but not right now as I went with the economical and effective SHORT solution.

Edit to add color coordinated Duct tape on Zumo...not considered a feature by many!
