How do you get the map image to show up in post instead of the link?
<iframe src="https://www.google.com/maps/embed?pb=!1m14!1m12!1m3!1d51596.45011166185!2d-79.27354345239257!3d36.07451533263848!2m3!1f0!2f0!3f0!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1386534681974" width="400" height="300" frameborder="0" style="border:0"></iframe>
on the map page, click where it has the linked chain image. then copy and paste all the text in the Paste HTML to embed in website box.
<a href="<iframe width=" 425"="" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="https://maps.google.com/maps?t=m&ie=UTF8&ll=36.223595,-79.251485&spn=0.185012,0.337143&z=11&output=embed">

The links to the best reports are BOLD. Not all my write-ups are here. Some have been posted elsewhere and/or published in print. Some have not been published at all.
ATTENTION: COMCAST NUKED ALL PERSONAL STORAGE SPACE WHICH BROKE SCADS OF MY PHOTO LINKS. Many will still work because they were in non-Comcast locations. Many will not because FUCK COMCAST. Sorry about that.
Buncha random selfies from these and other trips: http://www.advrider.com/forums/showpost.php?p=22940799&postcount=59
2017 - August-September - One of the best adventure-rides yet and my only organized tour. A friend owns a motorcycle tour company, Renedian.com. Rene led a dual-sport tour from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe through Botswana and Namibia ending in Capetown, South Africa, that was filled with our friends, all of whom we invited. We were five men and five women on ten bikes with two teen-aged offspring as pillions. There might be a write-up. Meanwhile, if you're thinking of taking an organized tour in Southern Africa or Mongoloa or, coming soon... South America, look up Renedian.com.
2017 - July - Five days riding a big loop out of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Might be a write-up. Might not. We'll hafta see how it goes.
2016 December - Flew into Hanoi, visited Halong Bay and then went on a five day ride, just me with a guide, on a CRF250 for five days heading generally north all the way up to the border with China. We put the bikes and ourselves on an overnight train back to Hanoi. No write-up yet. BACK COUNTRY VIETNAM IS A FANTASTIC PLACE TO RIDE. I highly recommend http://cuongs-motorbike-adventure.com/ They also offer guided sidecar tour and jeep tours and rent bikes for self-guided stuff if that is what you prefer.
2016 February - Self-Guided Off-Road Adventure Tour in Equador - No write-up, no photo album posted. Got sick for the first time while traveling. Had a shitty trip in more ways than you might imagine. Ecuador is nice, but not nice enough to want to revisit the place. I will never again ride with people I do not know. This misadventure confirmed my worst fears of what can go wrong on a packaged tour taken with people I don't know. I do NOT want to responsible for fools or the foolish behavior of people who are not my friends.
2015 June - Isle of Man TT'15 - No write-up, no photo album posted. Had a FANTASTIC time. My third TT was the best so far. Planning to attend the Manx GP in 2018.
1983 to 2015 - BMW sidecar "conversion" project that took thirty-two years, but I got it RIGHT.
Never say I don't finish something just because it isn't done YET. MANY photos NOT ON COMCAST so they were not fucking nuked. http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?p=27137828#post27137828
