Thought you were riding to Gore to see Leonard Skinner or something.

He thought it would be easier to ride to Nelson Boys and see Tim Skinner...

We had a cat skinner in Blenheim back in the early 90's - he used to dump the skinned cats in the Taylor Dam.

Sounds like a good place for cats :evil though I wouldn't bother skinning them.

The cops profiled what sort of debased fur loving criminal they might be looking for and as I recall they said there was a reasonable chance the culprit played or enjoyed banjo music, couldn't grow facial hair and lived in a town close to the sea? We all figured he must of come form Picton but the banjo playing definitely pointed to a Nelsonitianite?

I'm on the ferry tomorrow night to Wellington to pick up a bike and returning on 6am ferry and need to park my car and trailer somewhere overnight.

I've enquired at the storage places and they don't open up until 8.00 am. and I hope to be nearly home by then.

Been told there is bugger all parking in Picton. Does any one have any suggestions where I could park ?

    Cheers
    John

Great riding for adventure bikes in Hira Forest at the moment. It's the driest I recall seeing it. I did quite a big loop on Sunday and only found 1 puddle (and not by face planting in it, either! :lol3). That track under tree cover that contours around from Goat Hill Rd is powder dry - I've never seen it dry before, even in summer it's been wet and greasy.

After Padders talk of the West Bank rd and the tree lined tunnel on another thread I got all inspired and went for an evening ride :D
    Went up here too....

It's a weeeee bit corrugated, I was just a passenger on a couple of occasions coming back down :eek1 and a local dog decided to try and undo one of my boots with his teeth :huh
