Wish you were available. I'm seriously considering leaving EARLY tomorrow for Snowshoe to catch some of the rally and trying to find a place to camp in the woods. We could get that picture you've been wanting from Gormania. I got within 13 miles of it the last time I was down there.

Here you go, Mike. So close yet so far away. Jon says it raining a ton and things are a mess so it's probably just as well I didn't head down this am. I'm going to try to get out tomorrow. The old folks still riding bikes in the rain today?

Yes they did, spent all day riding the Transalp up and down the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway past the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame watching folks from 50 to 95 race. One vintage dude was nearly in tears when the police told him he was going to be pulled off the course because the Parkway had to be opened at noon. He still had 18 minutes so I asked them if they would escort him until noon and give him a chance to make it to he finish, he made it with 8 minutes to spare, the final finisher. When we got him off his bike, he was totally spent and said he'd never ridden that far before, it was only 25 miles but to him it was like 100.

2 motorcops on Harley's rode with us for a lap or 2 before pulling off and just sitting at the finish line. Some 'tard with the microphone tried to make it like Don and I were racing when we came in from the end of the women's race and mistook my Transalp for a Beemer. The dude needs glasses, that TA has way more style than a Beemer!

I'll be back up there tomorrow till noon again for the 20k Race

    Ever hear of Germania?

We're heading in that direction in September. Something tells me this place will pop up again very soon

I'm headed to Wheeling this morning via back roads to skateboard for a little then I'm off to Greensburg PA to do the same. Making a day of it. Two of my favorite things. :D Looks like the weather broke in Snowshoe. Wish I'd gotten off my rear and left yesterday AM. Oh well. We'll make up for it today.

I'll be riding through Carrolton. I'm leaving in 10 minutes. You meeting somewhere? I'll be passing through Canton in about 30 minutes. Call my cell if it's not too early to hook up. 330.604.2574. If so, have a great day. Hope you're doing something fun.

No one got the tag yet? If my bike wasn't in the pic I would have to go get it just to put up something interesting for today. I think it's a good day for a putt on the HD.

If you had posted it would have been a good clue since your buddy hasn't filled out his profile yet...
Saw lot's of Harleys heading west. :pirate
Nice morning for a ride, a little cool even.
I would be cold w/o a helmet like those tough dudes and dudettes.

I got on him about the profile. I think he added to it a bit more now.

Mill creek park is a gem in the middle of Youngstown. You can get lost in there and then pop out in the middle of the hood!! I recommend exploring around there if anyone gets the chance.

I just got home we went riding with a HD, KLR, and ninja 500. Confused the shit out of the wavers.... They didn't know who to wave at...

I think that's the claim shot for the tag I posted there two years ago when the nearby bridge was tent city. I'd leave it, as it will be a nice ride if the bridge is done.

Why use a file photo and not just stop somewhere and take a fresh shot?

I used to ride mountain bikes there back in the late 80's, the difference was, we rode from the 'hood where my friend lived into the park. After about a year, mtb's were banned from the trails and my friend moved to Virginia.

I am hoping to get a long ride in Tuesday if anyone is interested
