At this time I will be trail riding from 9-12 if anyone is interested then I plan to leave crow canyon mx at noon for a back roads cruise if anyone is interested. Be warned, we're going exploring so don't show up on a street bike.

PM is mandatory or I won't wait or look for you.

I decided to go to a place I've never been before.. a lake just north of rt 39. And just to make it more fun, I turned off the first road I saw. (It just happened to be gravel) This tag is at the corner of Fargo rd and Rose rd. This is the gravel turn off.

It was a bit of a feat on my 12" wheels.. my grom did NOT like 3rd gear, that big thick gravel made my front end want to wash out like crazy.. it was definitely still the most fun road I rode on for this 120mi trip though!

Whoops, first time tagging. Anyone upset with the gravel? Just found out I made a noob mistake (the bf said I shouldve tagged pavement.) This gravel though was not gnarly what so ever, any bike could be taken on it. Hence my grom was on it. :rofl

That stuff is wicked. I was nailed with it twice now. Once back in 2000 for my ankle surgery.. after 4 other attempts to put me under failed. They had to call the ER anesthesiologist to come do it. He did.. with that stuff. I still woke up mid surgery and got it again. EVERYTHING tasted like different textured salt for 3 days. Water, jello, turkey, gravy, mashed potaotes, etc. All salt. The second time was recently with my wisdom teeth. Same deal, but no salt aftertaste. Other anestetics didn't work. He got one tooth in and I was up for the last 3. I had the worst fucking hangover of my life after the teeth came out.

Thanks CB, still struggling with the phone, I thought I have it figured out, but I'm starting to think it's my big fingers, and my left thumb has no feeling in it, as I caught it in a winch and tore the flesh part off. Just taped it back on and it grew back, but no feeling and the phone won't read it, and then sometimes it does.

I'll either figure this out or the phone will take a trip over a hill some place.

OMTA received the following letter from Wayne National Forest this morning:

    ************************************************
    Dear participating vendors,

Due to the lapse in government funding, the Wayne National Forest will be closing its offices today. In addition, we have been asked to inform all participating vendors to stop selling all trail products including trail permits, passes, and gift certificates, effective immediately. When government funding is restored, the Wayne National Forest office will reopen. We will then notify you when you may resume selling trail permits.

Also, effective today, all Wayne National Forest trails, campgrounds, and recreation areas will be closed until further notice. Please inform your customers so they can make alternate recreation plans.

    Thank you,
