By this time tomorrow morning, we will hit the dirt for 10 - 12 days of Honda-powered desert and mountain cruising. Last trip down there we passed by many intriguing tracks traversing the mountain ranges and dancing along treeless ridges. This time we have no agenda and intend to thoroughly scour these remote trails and forgotten roads. 4 of us will attempt to cover 300 miles and meet up with some other fellows just across the Nevada border by sunset monday. From there Jim and I are splitting from group and continuing south east for the Ruby mountains. I have no GPS, speedo or computer but I do have this Droid phone and new service to send a daily photo. Never tried to create a 'live' ride report so this may or may not work very well. My partner for the entire trip has all kinds of electronics and we both have nice cameras so we'll do our best to gather images for a proper report upon completion of the trip. Looking forward to meeting up with our friends that live in Eureka, Nevada for Chinese food and some brews on or about thursday 6/25/10. Almost ready!
