So did KTM ever upgrade/improve the fuel pump?

Do the 2012+ models have an updated pump or are they still supplying the original 2008 pump?

If you wait till mine show up to look @ them you are more than welcome.
Ordered a set last week when they became available in black.
I plan on assy a 690 ADV lite bike this winter for the umcoming riding season.
I have everything except my frame mounting system. I have a couple feelers out about parts, but havent seen anything not custom @ this point that didn't have the expensive fairings as part of the package.
I already have a fairing set, which I will modify to work with the EVO2 tanks.
    Anybody have some idea's?

I'm not sure if the pump is any different. They have changed the pre-filter though according to Profill
"2012 MODEL HUSABERG / KTM HAVE FIXED THE PROBLEM OF THE HOLE, SO THERE IS NO ADVANTAGE OF BUYING THIS FILTER FOR 2012 BIKES"

On a related note.. Sherri Jo has 116,000 km on her original 2008 fuel pump. :deal

One more set of these in stock (two just sold). Mduro takes about 6 weeks to make them. I run a set on my 690, work very well, look good too

My bike has been sitting for a while and I didnt put any stable in the gas. Am I going to have to pull the carb off and clean out the jets?

are they for attaching luggage or just for protecting the swingarm from your boots/boots from swingarm?

I know the stock plastic ones rub on the swingarm and will eventually wear a hole through

Yes full clearance of the swing arm and excellent location for straps. I use them to attach the forward strap of my GL Mojavi. Recent 4 day 600+ mile DS trail ride with this setup and no issues.

I will take some more pictures and post them of the 690 w/ boot guards and bags loaded.

I have pulled these boot guards out after mounting them to the frame to get them into a position that I like for the application. As built, they, like the plastic OEM units, are close to the swing arm, but the nice thing about metal... is it stays where its bent to... for the most part. :freaky
