Thanks for the support
Hey, you never gave us a heads up of the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale, did we miss it?
Ahhh Im really sorry about that guys, for that ill let you guys in on a little secret. The last sale for awhile is going to be a Christmas Sale. Details will be announced soon
random question and kinda off topic and maybe covered but I can't find it.
so with LED technology needing less energy to power can these new lights run with less stator power output. In other words reducing the need for high output stators or just a battery to operate....?
It really depends on the bike. Small lights like the SII only draw 22 watts and the Squadron draws 42 watts but just comes down to what bike your working with.
Let me know if you have any questions
I need a squadron for my 390.
Anyway to make one work with the stock shield on an 01 KTM 640e?
Sent from my mobile.
As a very happy customer with the Baja Designs SII LED Combo Lights wired up I thought I'd give them a shot out here.
Ridiculously bright, the two make the same output as a BD Squadron with Combo lenses + I have my HID conversion lamp. Being a pretty focused/flat beam, the HID does seem have a bit of an advantage in getting more lumens downrange when tipped up, the LED's with combo lenses fill in the rest perfectly.
I will probably black out the top of my fender to reduce the glare off the white plastic that is more obvious when standing, that reflection was there before from the HID, but with the LED's it's a necessity while riding trails at night. Black Gaffers tape should do the trick.
I mounted mine on the stock turn signal mount and have since went to HDB LED integrated signals, now that I'm running BD's there's no looking back!
Here's a few comparison photos shot full manual with my camera to control the exposure, what you see is what it is.
The closest thing I have to the stock Husaberg headlight, a stock headlight on a CRF250L which might be a tad bit brighter than the OEM Husa/KTM headlight, but not much if I remember correctly, low beam.
CFR250L high beam
My Husaberg's 55w HID headlight only.
Both Baja Designs SII LED Combo Lights only
HID and Baja Design lights
The sale will go from Christmas till New Years
It looks like it would take some modifying of the shell to make it work. We also sell it in a complete oem KTM shell as an option.
Looks awesome! Thanks for sharing the night photos with all the guys. Do you mind if we use the pictures on our facebook page?
Yes, feel free you post them on your facebook page, thanks for asking.

Definitely eyeing the incredible deals you have on.
Just ordered the Squadron .
Your Burg is a sick piece of kit man! Well done setup.
Just under the wire with a Squadron kit for the Super Tenere. Thanks!
I just wanted to thank Mike over at BD for going back and giving me the ADV discount after I placed my order on the second. While reading through this rather lengthy post I placed an order not knowing of the ADV discount. No hassle he just adjusted the order pricing. That is good customer service.
