Wow... I can hear the axe grinding from here. :huh

So, TT was able to do this 5 years ago, using bolt-ons. Your right, there is no way it could be done now. :norton

Chill out dude... drop your ass on one when it shows up and make your call then. Unlike alot of bikes out there, when it hits the dealers floor you can take it for a spin to your local truck scale and declare loudly "I was right! It weighs 260 pounds with less then a gallon of gas!" :deal

I just read the Enduro is 156 kg = 343 lbs.

This sounds more like it. Not great, but not too bad either.

Knowing BMW it can certainly be trimmed down by dumping a few parts (muffler etc...).

Scrambler seat looks comfy, the others dont look too bad either.
I like the underseat gas idea, pretty clean.
Although if you want a bigger tank your options will be limited.

No axe to grind. I am on board with everyone here. The more bikes the better. But if you are going to list specs then try to get them correct.

My favorite as well. I wish they would have gone tubeless for this bike.

Cool I get it now. Sorry for the evil eye. As it's been noted, they gave us the lowest weight of the 3. And, you should be prepared to hear the words "Starting at $xxxxx"

    Marketeers suck - agreed.

However, it's still a frickn' AWESOME upgrade to my beloved, bomb-proof Rotax thumper. :rabia

Rear wheel, without a doubt. I think all BMW quoted power outpts are rear wheel.

Someone mentioned that one of the new 650's was a parts bin special :huh because the headlight was off a 1200GS - look again, slightly similar idea/concept but far from being the same.

meh, i'm still happy with the dakar, and will continue to be unless the 800gs is something really special.

Those three bikes do nothing for me, well the wheels of the supermoto could come in handy for the dak but apart from that :dunno
