When I started using the first generation Dynaplug tool, I was impressed by the design, size and ease of use. I try a lot of products, and sometimes decide to sell ones that I believe in. The Dynaplug tools have become the fastest growing part of the MotoPumps business...

Dynaplug just released the 2nd generation of their tool and I got a sample to try out a few weeks ago.

It is perfect for the motorcycle market. Small, light, billet aluminium, stainless steel, made in the USA... I kept picking it back up, unscrewing the end, noting how well the rubber end pad/cap fit, seeing how many plugs would fit inside, just turning it around in my hand. Beautifully machined parts make me happy!

I had mentioned to the folks at Dynaplug that I needed less packaging, lighter weight, easier to ship product. They came through on all fronts. This thing weighs less than 3 oz ready to go and fits in the palm of your hand. It nestles into a MotoPump bag with a pump without an issue. What a cool little tool!

The force to insert a plug into a moto tire is low, and the stainless steel insertion tube protects the plug from any stress or cuts on the way in. Just inset into the nail or screw hole and withdraw the tool and the plug stays behind. No glue, no mess. Very cool. If the hole is large, two plugs can be insterted together and they will vulcanize together to form a permanent repair.

The kit includes the Dynaplug Tool, 4 plugs, pipe cleaner to clean insertion tube and instruction sheet. Additional plugs are available in 5 packs for $6.99 each.

The new Dynaplug Ultralite is not cheap, but no fine tool is. What is the value of plugging a puncture roadside? MSRP is $29.99. We are selling them at $24.99 with free USA shipping.

Thanks to all who purchased for that amazing response! I did get all the other orders out yesterday and also got an additional case of Dynaplugs, so I am filling orders with no delay.

I appreciate folks being patient with the slight shipping delay. I had no idea how fast they would go.

In stock and ready to ship! :clap

I got mine last week. Thanks for the fast shipping. This thing is compact. I could fit 5 in the space of my current tire plug kit.

The utube video wasn't working which might have answered these questions.

What is the diameter of the hole for the insertion tube? Does it require reaming to a size larger than the puncture?
Does what looks like a brass point stay inside the tire after insertion?

    Thanks

    Hey there-

Not sure what is up with the video. They look like they work on Dynaplug's site: http://www.dynaplug.com/videos.html

I don't have a Dynaplug with me to measure, but the tube is around 3/8". There is no need to ream the tire, and in many cases that is undesirable, as it causes further damage to the cords, tire caucus, etc. The rubber in the plugs does a great job conforming and binding to the wound in the tire.

The brass tip weighs a couple of grams and does stay in the tire. I have dismounted tires after they were run to their natural end, and the little brass tip was still in there, just sitting on the end of the plug. They weigh so little that balance is not affected.

Let me know if you have other question.

Here they are on my website. The pricing here is better until my supply at the intro price is gone. The PayPal button at the top of this thread will do it for you.

Just picked one up for my R1200GS - lots more compact than the big Monkey Grip T-handle unit I'd been carrying. No need for a separate tube of glue, either?

Correct. The "glue" acts more as a lubricant for the sticky strings than actual glue, and isn't needed with these. The insertion tube that holds the Dynaplug takes care of the need for a lubricant, allowing easy insertion into the puncture. Pretty slick system!

I don't see an option to order two, one as a gift. Do I just order two separately ?
