new england to texas (tropical storm irma)

    fuck it. may as well ask.

    i have to get down to texas from new england and am trying to figure out if i should head out tomorrow or wait.

    figure to take it slow but this storm has me shaking my head. also i'm trailering a bike.

    thoughts, suggestions or suggested routes?!

    I drove through the remnants of Katrina as it made it's way through Pennsylvania. At that point, it was just lots of rain. I would think about heading west to around Indianapolis and then turn southwest toward Texas. What's left of Irma should have mostly petered out and you should be good. I was hoping we'd get some of the rain from it here in St. Louis, but that's not gonna happen.

    thanks. looks like it broke up quite a bit between last night and today. should be good i'd guess.
    appreciate it. baby trailer is not a lot of fun in the rain.
