I have just bought a new 2004 GS. It is a nice addition and completly different to my K1200LT. I am looking for places around North Carolina that I can get dusty. Also, I know the LT inside and out but very little about the GS. Any information you can pass on, tips and tricks, I would appreciate it.

I have been exploring the dirt roads over around Bryson City, NC. Conely Creek Rd., south out of Whitter to NC 28 is a really good dirt/gravel road. There are maps of other places in the area at www.tailofthedragon.com . Look for the dual purpose rides. If you have a GPS with mapsource software or Microsoft S&T I could send you osme map files. Ping me at andy112652 at aol.com if I can help.

    Linzi,

Thanks for the invite. I have trips plans for the 3 weekends just before Reble Yell so I won't be able to make it (gotta stay home one weekend a month :D ).
