New here with a KTM 660RR

    Just subscribed here.
    Bought myself a '05 KTM 660RR yesterday, and hopefully you guy's and girls can help me with info about this machine.
    Fellow countryman @Oossie has the same project, and hes 'kind off to blame"...

    I quit with motorcycle's already 2 times (and sold all the gear..), but every-time it starts itching again....

    Still have to find out how to post a picture.

    Hi Martin,

    It's great also having a project owerhauling a 660 RR in Mongolia the plan is that the same will be used for Mongolian Rally 2013, looking forward for your thread.

    If you find out to download pictures please let me know and I can start a thread as well.

    Choosen the Original "Gauloises"color. Have a spare set of tankpanels with GO!!!!! stickers, but want to promote my own company as well!

    Just finished the thing and drove it for the first time....
    Sooooomuch power from just one cylinder! (comparable withe the 950 LC8 adventure a used to have)

    Looks great man! We have to make an appointment to show off the bikes:D

    Currently working on th DB-killers i will let you know soon how the sound is after the change to DB-killers

    Due to kneeproblems no more dirtriding for me i 'm afraid...
    Therefore this well restored 660RR is now for sale.

    Bike is from 2005
    History: owner J vd Kooy - '05 & '06 Dakar starts but retired after 2 & 4 days.
    Extra buddy/set tankpanels (GO!!!!)/ factory WP reardamper + set of wheels.
    Including Garmin 276 GPS on steeringclamps.
    Bike is looked after by "my" pro mecanic and is "ready to race"
    Riding and power is perfect. Ideal bike for long trips (4 tanks - 41L!)
    Exhaust with killers (although they hear you coming... :ear

    Price € 10.000,- complete as discribed.

    No idea... Will only sell the bike complete (i think you understand why?)
    on the other hand.. € 10.000 for both the tanks and the bike comes with them..(for free!) :1drink
