Like I said, "short" and "passionate" are the best. Those are 2 words I can use to describe my awesome wife. :clap

The "import" is playing hard to get at the minute. ;)

If importing the Cub doesn't work out, have you considered a Symba?

No way Jose! Nothing against the Symba :puke1 - lol! - but it's not what I want. If I can't get a Super Cub, I will most likely buy a PCX. Not sure if I will wait for the updated one or not. I might be able to get a better deal on a 2013 :evil. I guess I will pull a "Jim" and do a "his and her" thing. :D

Got some nicer temps today, mid 40's and got out for a short ride today around 30 miles. I did run into a couple problems that kept me from riding longer.

    1. I didn't really layer up that much so even with the warmer temp I was a little cold after a while.

    2. The real side roads I enjoy finding on the Grom weren't 100% safe. Some still had a few patches of ice/snow in the center. Had to slow way down not to hit one mid corner. So because of that I stuck to more main roads where the average speeds are 50 mph, making me colder quicker (See point 1).

    3. With the Tidy Tail the spray does come up versus having the stock tail. It can come all the way up, on other rides I've covered the back of my helmet with dirt. With a jacket and backpack you don't feel most of it. Where I do feel it is my butt / pants. I plan to get a rear rack and then mount a small piece of plastic on the underside to help control the spray.

How is everyone getting on with their Groms?
Just made inquiries about a TT Legends colour one :evil

Failing that I'll be going for a White one.

My wife saw one of these in person yesterday. She's now excited to ride again (after selling a bike that didn't fit her well, was a bit big). I think there is a new purchase coming this week after she test rides. :evil

    Nice! :clap

I'm looking forward to the nicer weather because I want to try to get some of my friends to try out my Grom and maybe get them into riding.

Although the bike suits people of smaller stature, the clutch lever is a big stretch. Be forewarned that the EBay adjustable levers only adjust the clutch to get further away.

Why wait? Water just lets you stretch your legs for a little bit.

I know the water wasn't deep, but I'd likely take that pedestrian bridge on the left anyway! :ricky

It is 20cm in places and hides countless potholes, I am not riding a brand new bike through it.
    :huh
