It's on and I love it... problem is I am confused about setting the correct ride height. Got it from Ohlins USA who did the initial set up with the correct spring.

    Here's what I have currently:

Free Sag 30.2mm (this is what the MX/Offroad spec says it should be)

Ride Height 60.3mm MX is spec'd at 100mm +/- 5, and offroad is spec'd at 30% of the total stroke. My manual says the total stroke in 80mm, so 30% would be 27mm, which is less than the free sag?????

HELP!!!!!! what is the correct (or what works for you) in the free sag and ride height department??????????????????

    Thanks!

Could you be confusing shock stroke and wheel travel?

The shock "stroke" may be 80mm butt your wheel travel over the same

80mm may be 275-280mm due to the angle of the shock mounting.

    Just a thought.

    PS

I set my weighted sag a bit less than 4". Prolly 3 1/2" 'coz I like a bit stiffer

    ride.

    Thanks DS,

point well noted about wheel travel versus shock travel, hence my confusion.... guess I'll call Ohlins in the morning.
My weighted sag is 60mm which is ~2.4 inches... your 4 inch sag works out to be 101.9mm (25.4 mm's per inch) which is what Ohlins suggests for an MX shock.

    I'll post what Ohlins says.
