In Europe for sure. Even trials bikes come with turn and brake signals. Trials bikes also have to be registered here.

I have read around 5900€ in Spain. About 30% should be taxes, so around 4500 without them.

And I think the trials bike has been sold in USA, so why not this?

74kg, 280cc, 2-stroke, EFI? That's what I've been looking for! Does Ossa have a presence in the USA?

Isn't it a very compact side valve four stroke? ... looks great! :clap

The latest issue of DirtBike Magazine has a test on the Trials version. Pretty sweet, direct injection, (EFI).

I was under the impresion that it wasn't direct injection, just the sandard EFI type thing similar to the type 4 strokes run.

    So is it DI?

It is Direct Injection according to the write up. And yes it is a two stroke motor. I am curious as to what
premix ratio it can run. Not exactly sure the main differences between a Fuel Injected four stroke, and the
    Direct Injection two stroke.

Does anyone but me think it's odd to be discussing a 2 stroke with a 60mm stroke in the thumper forum?

Well the TR280i stats say it is EFI and nothing about DI (two different systems, EFI sprays the fuel into the throttle bodie, DI sprays it directly into the cylinder as I understand it).

    Fuel/oil mix is 2.5%.

    No, not odd at all.

Where else on ADV would we discuss it?

(If your thinking of pointing out that the term thumper is used to describe single cylinder big bore four strokes, I would suggest not bothering...:deal)
