That's awesome ..... where should I send the check!
Let's just wait until we run them, I'll get back to you then.
Just saw that you're making an oil filler cap - great! Ordered one!! Of course, if I'd read the whole thread before I did, maybe I could have gotten one in blue to match my bike ... but I'll settle for silver :)
Does the oil cap come in yellow?
We only offer the clear anodized oil cap. Sorry
The cap looks cool, but honestly I never understood why the need for a secure oil filler cap. I'd like one on my GSA that doesn't require me to get my tool kit out to remove it.
We've sold over 600 Dual Tools and have had very possitive feedback from our customers.
They have gone all over the world, to places that we had not even heard of before.
Soooo.... Thank all of you that have purchased our products.
Hope to meet more of our customers on my rides. It's been a hoot!
........OK...where's my RED one???
Be patient, I'll get you a red one eventually. I need to make up some more before too long, but this is a side line, my main customers are first in line for my services and living in Montana sometimes finds us to be a tourist attraction for family and friends. It's been a crazy fall.
I'm actually kind of looking to see a red one myself. Who knows you may have something there.
Not sure if you've done a run yet, but I'd be interested in a red one as well. If it's not too much trouble.
I haven't run anymore at this time. When I do, I will do a short run of red ones to see how they sell.
Right now I am running a batch of Dual Tools. The new hex tool will be upgraded from 6061-T6 aluminum,
to 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. This will just about double the tensle strength of this tool.
Christmas is just around the corner.............and speaking of corners, that's what I want for Christmas.....lots of corners!!!!!!!
I read on another thread that some were having trouble with the spark plug portion of the tool. Has that problem been addressed? If so, what was the issue? Thanks.
I haven't had but one complaint about it being a little tight. I am going to loosen the tolerance on the batch that I'm working on now. Do you have a link to this thread. I would like to know of any issues with our products. I would appreciate comments coming to me so I can correct them.
Thanks for the heads up.
Appreciate your response. Link
Will this tool fit the spark plug coil on a F650gs?
I couldn't tell you on that, it might be a question that a BMW mechanic would know.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all. We hope the next riding season comes soon and thanks to all that made our 2012 season a great one.
<!-- #dg-post-title --><!-- message -->This week, our new improved version of the Dual Tool comes out! The hex tool is now made of 7075-T6 Aircraft grade aluminum. This provides almost twice the tensel strength of the 6061-T6 material used in the original. The original tool was tested to 100 ft lbs, which is 2 1/2 times the torque required for the front wheel. We have had 3 broken hex tools, out of 700 sold. This should eleminate that problem.
Ride safely and often.
