I've got a pallet full on the boat heading North now, with one set of F800 tires in the pallet that hasn't been spoken for yet (selling these friggin' things before they even make landfall). As a FYI to those interested in these tires, recent regulation changes in the European Union have slowed Heidenau shipments into the US. Word is there will be no more imported until mid/late December. We're in the process of building inventory now, so we should be good to go well before riding season.

This is great news, :clap I missed this thread as it was posted the day after I left for AK on July 30th, I unfortunatley only made it to Whitehorse due to a transmission bearing failure on my R100GS, Had to limp down to Skagway and take the ferry back home to Bellingham. The good news is its fixed and ready to go again next July on the exact same route I had planned (Deadhorse) last trip. So I'll be contacting you in the near future for a change out of tires, and some stickers while I'm up in your neck of the woods.
Even with the bearing failure I have to say it was the greatest ride of my life, Got to ride into Hyder and Skagway, So if anyone asks me if I've ever been to Alaska on a bike I can say, Sure have, Twice! :deal

Consider them spoken for. Send me a pm when there here and I'll plan my trip up around that.

    Friggin' bureaucrats....:D
That will be so sweet I'll have to plan a trip up just to visit it. Does it still have the pole? (not for me mind you:lol3 )
You need a slogan contest. My entry:
    Adventure Cycleworks
    The trail starts here.

I like it...but a bit too derogatory of the local competition. Last thing we need is the 800lb gorilla in the room trying to crush us. :lol3

I think you have something there with the contest though. We've been trying to come up with something to put on stickers & t-shirts. So, keep 'em comin', winner gets some free swag with the logo and slogan.

"Adventure Frontier" we who ride , all over the world, will know who/where you are. You can be for all " now" what Paul's BuM-W was to all of us years ago. I will send you the write up of the above if you are not familiar.

You do not need a mention of cycle, or two wheels, or moose or Dalton, or what ever. You are there, we will come!!!

I will be back for sure.

gale PS which one of you AK riders sent Guiseppi and I the honorary AK rider sticker/patches????

Great minds, apparently, think alike Mark. Unfortunately when we tried to setup the business license for Adventure Motoworks/Motorworks there was some trademark issues, so then we decided to name the business Adventure Cycleworks.

Oh yeah, make sure you make the shirts in child sizes. These just sing "Christmas Presents" for the lads.
