G'say all I am new to ADVrider but not new to hack, although i dont one as yet, i have riden many, including our workshop "UTE" which is based on a HD streetglide and a hack designed to pick up brakedown bikes (i work at a bike shop). i have a gsxr750 (k1 model) and an electra sidecar almost ready to fit up to it, i am hoping to have it done be the weekend of the 16th :-)

I must say this site is a wealth of knowledge and intresting information.

forgot to mention, i am in Townsville Queensland Australia

    Cheers Clive

this is the body i am told it is an electra body, later the company was brought by premier and you can see the heritage of the old body in the newer premier sidecars.

the faithfull steed,[ the gsxr not the scooter:-) ] that is going to be pulling the hack along

the subframe that is going to hold it all together ;-)

    and the chassis

i am currently waiting for a set of lowing links for the rear of the gsxr to get it
to a height that i am happy with, as soon as they get here more progress will be made.

What's with the handlebars behind the gas tank? is that so the rear passenger can steer the bike?

:D progress as last, i got the lowering links this week and have fitted them to the bike, and tonight i have fitted the sidecar chassis up the to bike as well, (photos tomorrow), so tomorrow i have to put the body on the chassis and make sure that it all fits up properly, paint the chassis and wire the lights and indicator.

After a weeks shake down to make sure everything is adjusted the way i want it, i will then have to get the whole outfit painted.

well today i got it all together, (except the lower fairings on the bike) and taken it for its first shackdown run.:lol3
Awsome to ride, if not a little heavy on the stearing, but i can live with that for the moment. I will be taking it on its first run on the highway tomorrow.

    That'll look good.

Now for a leading link front end. Makes a world of difference in how it steers.

The low slung profile of the rig is awesome! Any ventilation in there? Would love to see close ups of the interior and functions of the front / rear plexi. Back end reminds me of the old English TVR sports cars...

thanks everone for you comments, i have been riding it for only half a week now and am really happy with it, i can punt it around corners pretty hard now and keep up with quite a few sports(read as "race") bikes up the local mountan road.

bmwhacker yes it dose have venterlation in it, but it is not much, i will get some close ups of the interior and of the function of the front and rear canopies for you, hopefully this afternoon and post them up for you tonight.
