The carb heater will have zero effect - its just for colder climates to lessen the chance of carb "icing" :deal Although I'm in the UK, the bike was imported from Germany, I think? My W650 had one fitted but I've removed it and the associated wires & shite - along with the Emissions pipes too :huh Less is More in my book :D

Anyone know where can i get a set of carb in reasonable price? CMSNL is way too expensive.

What kind of exhaust do you have. I like the look of it, Same with the tank. Nice.

    Beautiful tank!

Where did the finned bevel drive cover come from? Mine was injured in a spill. Please PM me if you want to sell your stock one.

You'd think in Singapore one would have a zillion options to chose from for W650 aftermarket parts.
The most significantly modified W650 on the web are either from Japan or Singapore.. :huh

Not aware of any threshold for posting photos. Once you're an inmate, you should be good to go.

Only catch is that ADV no longer hosts photos, likely because of server space limitations or some such. Most of us host our photos on photobucket (free) smugmug (not free, but probably better quality).

Then you highlight the url in the photo host, click on the "mountain" icon in the "reply to thread" window, and you're home free . . .

    Thanks ORexpat, greatly appreciated.

    Thank you :lol3
    She's rough, but cool ...

I don't have the "add attachment" box, but a list of tasks I"m allowed to do and not. I'm NOT allowed to add attachments... Which made me wonder about a number of post threshold before the site allows you to add pics...
Oh well, the links will do for now...

It's pretty easy to imbed an image in your post. Just click on the "Insert image" button and paste the link to your image.

Look for the "insert image" box, like this one: [IMG]

That's the one where you paste the url from photobucket, or whatever host you're using for your images.

I had to try and post a picture of my bike, being a noob. This is "Wilma". I have had this bike since 2006 and still love it.

    Thanks Bulleteer...
The badges travelled all the way from Oz to Burgundy... Fellow forum member who had stripped his W800 gave them to me.

I have figured out the process for embedding pics, yet when I copy/paste the link it still doesn't produce the picture... I'll try harder.. :cry
