Hey there y'all! I got tired of the busy city life in the Nation's Capital so I sold nearly everything I owned, loaded up the bike with everything else, and moved down to Del Rio, Tx!

Alright, so that's not entirely true, but it'd make for a good story. I did leave DC for Del Rio though, but because that's what the Air Force told me to do. Still, I've got my bike and it's 70 degrees outside in December. Can't complain about that (at least not til the summer.)

Anyways, I'm new to the area and looking for awesome roads to ride and things to see. I have a Triumph Scrambler and prefer scenic paved roads, but I'm not opposed to some packed dirt or gravel.

Hey guys, another transplant here! My name's Bryce and I moved out here a little while back from Southern California. Right now I'm in Haltom City, but we're looking at places in Benbrook. I finally dug my bike out of a 4 month storage, and plan on riding at Trophy Club this Saturday.

Welcome! Trophy Club is 3 minutes from my house in Roanoke. Not bad for kicking around. Also check out Rocky Ridge Ranch and Red River Trails. Ever do any dual sport?

I did back in CA, but my bike won't pass TX inspection. So I might just turn it into an off-road only bike

I will be moving to Kyle the last week of April or first week of May, so I'd like it if I could meet some new friends. :D

Anyone in the Buda/Kyle/San Marcos area ride a fair bit?

Is there a better thread to introduce myself than this one? Texas is a big place, after all...

Brand new - matter of fact I don't pick up my bike for 2 more days, a 2015 DR650. It'll be my first non-street bike so I've got some learning to do :D

Would enjoy meeting some locals in/near NE Houston for some area rides and it wouldn't take much arm-twisting to get me to join a group ride in Mexico either!

Beaumont area. I'm new to dual sports but have had several off road bikes and cruisers. I just bought a DR650 mainly to ride Big Bend National Park, but open to go anywhere. I'm really into rock buggies, but want to do a little more exploring.

I'm in Groves and there is a little group of us that ride dual sports. Ride Sam Houston Forest. Day rides up to Hemphill. Not a lot of dual sport riding around here.

I'm not "new" to the region, but I did recently move from Houston TX, to boxley AR. Just in time for some great rides and fantastic weather too! I am in my late fifties, and race the TORN series in N TX. Looking forward to getting into the local hare scrambles scene, and maybe hosting some rides on my bison ranch at Boxley. Anyone in the NWA region who wants to ride some dirt roads, woods trails, or even make an outing at a local MX track, please give me a shout. I'm all about a good spirited dirt bike ride. To some of you inmates who were posting about riding in TX & Mexico; if you aren't aware of the Two Wheeled Texans forum (TWTEX.com), check it out. There are frequent way down south rides posted there.

    Greetings Tejas/Gulf Immates,

I moved from the nations capitial to the area in late August and just want to link up with good people in the Houston area and learn about all the greatness that the lone state has to offer.
