Head along Medowie Rd towards highway turn right along old Swan Bay rd( just before next
Medowie rest area) through Karuah follow the branch lane til the end turn left. About a k turn right up blue gum Rd, check the map it will take you up to Stroud, go through Stroud, turn right at mill Creek Rd, it will take you to wards river, from there, there are multiple ways into the Barrington. Lots of good dirt roads but you need to check out a decent map( the drifta mid north coast map does the job). This is all very easy dirt so good for all bikes
    Hope this helps

    Track conditions were great.

The beginning of the California Trail is a bit steep and has erosion mounds with a bit of a loose surface but nothing too serious.

There were some tight-ish corners but a 4x4 could do it easy.... you should be fine on the 1150.

PM me if you want more details or phone number to chat about the route.

Be careful out there on the long weekend... it get busy and there are D@#heads both in cars and on bikes everywhere.

I'm trying to head out mid week to avoid as many people as I can. Maybe an overnighter and explore around Bulahdelah.
