I'm looking at the first Wednesday of June to start. Originally thinking just VA to Harrisburg, PA but maybe I could knock the whole thing out in the trip.
Looking forward to the movie at Hermeys next week.

Actually the MABDR is the middle, i.e., Mid Atlantic, section of the planned three section East Coast BDR. The other two sections are in very early planning

It was set up initially by a local rider (@cmballer ) and it's at an actual theater. So yes, they want their money to keep the lights on.

And there are some costs from the BDR end. Some places cover the costs, some charge. It's an individual choice.

So I did. Kept me up til midnight last night, I kept rewinding and looking for details I missed as it went by and trying to follow it on Basecamp map. Probably took me 3 hours to get through a one hour video. I think I'll watch it again today, straight through this time.
But now I want to ride it more than before, very different from the western BDRs. Different flavor of beautiful ride. I will ride the 1200GSA from Oklahoma and it will be in it's element on the route.

Oh yeah, I have a bottle of Route 66 Root Beer. :hmmmmm

Yeah the streaming option became available quickly for this BDR. Much sooner than the other BDRs.
