Though not 100% essential, we always recommend everyone use a GPS with the above .gpx loaded as roads are not always signed in the backcountry!

Below you will also find a great NMBDR to COBDR connector.

Here is the Benchmark Atlas that all our maps are build upon. Bring it along for full road detail. http://amzn.to/1TI7eC5

Make it happen this season and NOT "one day"!

It will be a great route I think, with all the variety of terrain, weather, and soil types New Mexico has to offer.

Dang!! I was hoping the route would be done for this spring. Ive got the month of May off. Starting to plan a loop out of crested butte, through NM, then catch the AZBDR and UTBDR. At least the NM state map will be out.

    Unfortunately no. Sorry man.
    Thanks for the interest! :D

Rob Watt has just been scouting out potential routes for the NMBDR (& talking about it on FB), but those guys then need to do their official scouting riding sometime in the warm months. Then the route is finalized by the group and then the mapping, photo and video work has be to done for a winter time premiere of the project.

Every BDR comes out on this same schedule. 1 per year as the total costs are high at $20K+ per BDR to create. Idaho is being released this winter. If New Mexico is scouted this summer/fall, then it will be released winter of 2016.
