Detroit is beginning to draw attention.... positive attention. Makes me very nervous for them. :lol3

Ndamukong and I had a chat and it was decided he would let you have a full and comfortable recovery before he has his "discussion" with you about disrespecting his team. :evil

Glad you're back at it, AC. :clap

The play-by-play and color guy were being stupid over Stafford. They even went as far as putting him in Peyton Manning's company. :eek1 He's good, but those guys are smoking something better. A little premature, IMO. Fun to watch though.

I want Detroit to do well, I like how they've built up from nada. I like Suh! And in many ways Lions success would be akin to Saints success. I good emotional boost for a hard hit area. :thumb

Plus after the things Knave told me about WaterWheel I'm not sure I can feel the same about Wisconsin ever again.

On this we agree. Get down to a Lions or Tigers game and the people in attendance are having a great time. It is nice to have something to take your mind off of the obvious negative issues plaguing this area. The Schwartz will own this town if this team can get a playoff win somehow. :deal

I also want Detroit to do well. I may decide to support them instead of the Chumps this season. I can't decide between the Lions and Pats. I like them both.

One thing I noticed about the Lions/Chumps game was how well the Chumps neutralized Suh. His name was hardly called at all by the announcers the whole game.

Right now, half a game AHEAD, until GB-Chi is over.

    This is amazing.

Listen, I hate to be your buzz-kill, but from one Lions fan to another, quit tuggin' your weenie over these guys. Minnesota's coaching staff called the absolute worst 2nd half of football I think I've ever seen. Is Marty Mornhingweg in the booth calling their offense?

Seriously, the Lions got their 1st taste of a real defense in that game and it ain't gonna get any prettier with the better than average teams. The team's weakness was exposed in all its shining glory today, the O-line. They are serviceable, but will get steam-rolled against the better D-lines in the league. Couple that with the inexplicable miscommunications between Stafford and the receivers (which should be an anomaly, really) and it adds up to me not counting on them doing very well against teams like Chicago and Green Bay. They have to sweep Minnesota & Chicago and split with Green Bay to have a shot at the division. GB will win 11 minimum and I doubt Detroit can eclipse that total.

Enjoy it. It was a decent comeback win, a game in which the prior iterations of Lion teams would have folded, but don't forget this game was given to them.

Again, not trying to be a buzz-kill.

(And that font. HOLY SHIT, MAN! :lol3)
