Yeah, ..... we kinda thought that the roof fin was the straw that killed it
The '57 fins actually kind of play and it appears to be relatively well done.... but yes the roof fin 'jumps the shark' for sure
*cough* prolapsed colon *cough*
I'll see your 'Stang and raise you an Impala:
On the up-side, this one provides seating for your tailgate party.
That's like a swim platform...
In the case of the 57-59 Skyliner retractable hardtops like that one the continental kit is a practical idea as it frees up some of the very limited trunk space (inside white box in trunk was the only space not occupied by the roof) available when the top is down.
If that thing is longer than 24'', aren't you supposed to put a red flag on it or something?
Yeah, on sharp turns you'd be knocking folks off of the sidewalk.
Well, it is a boat....
That Edsel is awful. The Impala, on the other hand, is pretty much period correct. Connie kit and cruiser skirts are cool.
The song is the theme of "77 Sunset Strip."
"Kookie, Kookie" was not the show's theme but was a novelty pop song based on the popularity of the character in the series.

Very poor work/execution of what otherwise could've been neat
I stand corrected!
I like the guy on the right. He's saying "far out, man!"
^^^ That isn't just slammed, but slammed dunked!
Holy crap, thats a bug.
It took me a second...that may be the first car to have most of its drivetrain on the outside of the car
I think the rear tires are actually taller than the roof. Imagine climbing in and out of that thing.
I am claustrophobic just looking at it.
I dont really see the point
>"Imagine climbing in and out of that thing."
I think you... er... ride on the roof ???
